Susannah doesn't have a lot of spare time, but when not dashing around delivering emergency ice cream supplies in her trusty van, making coffee or working in HQ, she does occasionally find time for other interests. Singing has always been a big passion, having spent many years in various rock bands, but she also enjoys cooking, running and spending time with friends and family.
What you didn’t probably know…. Susannah was fired from her first proper job as a PA in London age 20 for ‘daydreaming’ and ‘lacking attention to detail.’ Her boss at the time said: ‘Susannah I like you and you’re probably good at other things, but this job isn’t one of them!’
Previously the Economic Development and Communications Manager for Cheltenham Borough Council, and Business Development Manager for North London Ltd, Jenny has a wealth of experience in setting the strategic direction for businesses and implementing comprehensive marketing campaigns.
She’s also an endless font of creative ideas and has been instrumental in the success of events such as ‘International Talk Like a Pirate Day,’ ‘Halloween Spooktacular’, ‘Christmas Crafts & Storytelling’ and ‘Nature Half Term’ - including standing in for the Welly Walker when she had gastroenteritis!
Jenny lives in Northleach with husband Ben and has two young children, who are proving to be excellent helpers at events. She has a particular fondness for green food and can often be found snacking on avocados or tins of peas in Head Office (weird).
Gemma has over 5 years’ experience working in coffee shops and joins us to lead a new team in Montpellier Gardens. She is already proving to be a favourite amongst customers and we are delighted to have her with us In The Park.
When not working Gemma spends time with her children and walking her dog, Bertie.
Previously the cafe manager for ITP at The Lido, Harriet was instrumental in the setup in 2014 and we're delighted that she's returned to the company after a six month sabbatical to take on a new role in Pittville Park as The Manager of The Boathouse, helping set up and run events and children's parties, as well as overseeing the day to day operation of The Boathouse, Golf and Tennis.
When not working, Harriet enjoys spending time with electrician boyfriend Dom, who has helped us out on many occasions (thanks Dom!) and cycling around on her trusty vintage pedal bike 'Dawry' with a basket full of treats and a very loud bell!
A former bar manager, Lyndsey joined us in 2018 and manages one of our busiest outlets - the Kiosk in Pittville Park. Effortlessly making the transition from pint pulling to ice cream scooping, she's now enjoying working outside in the park (and finishing at 6pm!).
In her spare time Lyndsey is a fitness fanatic and weight trains daily. She's also a dab hand at baking and produces some impressive cakes on her days off. Yum.
With our growing business, we soon realised that we needed a full time person looking after repairs and rennovations, along with developing and maintaining our IT infrastructure to support 45+ staff and streamlining our operating procedures. Previously the Assistant Manager at The Boathouse, Olly's skills in all things technical were already in demand, and he was constantly getting called out to come and fix things at all the cafes, so we thought we'd make it a more official role, and brought him into the Head Office (bringing not one but three computers with him!)
Outside of work Olly has a passion for fixing up and driving classic cars and constantly confuses us by turning up to work in a different one each day.
Within just a year of joining us as Assistant Manager Tom has moved up to Manager of our flagship cafe. Bringing with him a wealth of experience we are delighted to have him as part of our leadership team.
When not working Tom spends his time with his family.
Kerrie looks after our newest park cafe, The Cabin, in St Michael's park in Cirencester, and also helps the Town Council with looking after the park throughout the winter.
We were delighted that the Cabin was awarded a 5* Food Hygiene rating last summer, thanks to Kerrie's efforts, and plan to increase the food offering there this year.
